Elements can be set as optional by admins when building the email. This is done through the Optional Element setting inside Editor settings when selecting the targeted element.

It is possible to change the name of the element and make the element turned on or off by default.

When an element is optional in the Email Builder users will see a list of all the optional items ordered by their position in the module.

The list has a search bar that allows the users to quickly search for the elements they want to display or hide to match their own layout needs.

It is also possible to show a more detailed three view on the position of each element by clicking in the Switch to three view icon or Switch it from the three view to the list view by clicking on it too.
